A contemporary aromatic from a classic brand.

Lane Limited has been on a roll with their recent releases. Their Burley and Black, Ready Rubbed, and Captain Black Copper are great products that have already found many loyal fans. So, when they announced Lane Bulk Buttered Rum, I was excited. One of my favorite types of aromatic tobaccos are those that have rum or whisky flavorings added, and with Lane’s name on the project, I knew this one would be solid.

What we have here is an (almost) pure Burley blend, with just a bit of Virginia added in for balance. The rum flavoring, for me, is perfect. Some people view rum as an overly sweet drink, but those who love rum know there’s a good amount of spice to it as well. Lane has captured that rum essence here, with a caramel-sweet, zesty top flavor that will transport your taste buds to Jamaica.
