A time-tested favorite.

Lane’s HGL was the go-to blend for Herman G. Lane, the man who brought Lane Limited to the great heights it enjoys today. I love a good bulk blend, but sometimes they all blur together for me. They’re sweet, they’ve got Burley and Cavendish, they burn light. And so on. HGL switches the formula up just enough to pique my interest, without doing anything crazy. This blend, in addition to Cavendish, Burley, and golden Virginias, has some Latakia added to lend a nice, spicy flavor to the sweetness. It’s a cool, slow-burning tobacco that keeps me interested from the initial light, all the way to the ash at the bottom of the bowl.
