HVC Black Friday 2023

The 10th edition of HVC’s longest-running limited edition line!

Since 2015, Reiner Lorenzo of HVC Cigars has been paying homage to the American tradition of Black Friday. Every cigar since the line’s inception has come in a different size and, after 2017, a different wrapper leaf. Releasing a limited-edition cigar with the same name but with a different size and taste is risky, but it always makes me want to grab the newest one and see how it measures up. And let me tell you, the Black Friday 2023 is worthy of being added to this prestigious line! 

Fillers and a binder from Nicaragua are draped in a milk-chocolate colored Mexican San Andres wrapper in this year’s special Petite Gordo size. Last year’s edition of the Black Friday was medium-bodied and flavorful, but the 2023 edition steps it up in both departments! Medium to full-bodied and full of flavor, this smoke brings notes of cocoa, baking spice, cedar, and pepper to the palate.
