Today’s case in point, JFR Lunatic Corojo Torch, a Nicaraguan puro that uses a Corojo 99′ wrapper out of Jalapa over double binders and fillers both from Estelí and Jalapa to produce a full-bodied profile that punches the senses with notes of cocoa, nuts, leather, caramel, and an subtle natural sweetness. Unique to this cigar is the shaggy foot. Those familiar with term know that that means the manufacturer has purposely left some of the binder and filler mix exposed at the end of the cigar to give the enjoyer a taste of how the blend tastes without the balancing profile that is given by the wrapper.
