In 2015, the co-owner of Black Label Trading Co., James Brown, launched a new brand named Black Works Studio to make unique premium cigars. Boutique brands are always trying to generate a buzz with their blends. The first of what is sure to be many releases from BWS is Killer Bee, and as the name implies, it can sting.

For the unique factor, Brown created the cigar to have a signature linear cap, made of strips of natural tobacco wound around the Maduro wrapper resembling bee-stripes. The dark Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper encases fiery Nicaraguan binder and filler that produces a full-bodied profile, filled with notes of pepper, earth, and wood that make a bee-line for the palate and swarm the senses.
