HVC Hot Cake Golden Line

The Hot Cake, now in a creamy Connecticut coating! 

In 2020, Reiner Lorenzo of HVC unveiled the Hot Cake, and it quickly became a staple of HVC’s portfolio. A few years later, the new Hot Cake Golden Line was unveiled at the 2023 PCA trade show and quickly became one of my new favorites!

Comprised of filler leaves from Esteli and Jalapa, Nicaragua, a binder from Nicaragua, and the namesake golden-hued Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, the Hot Cake Golden Line is a powerful Connecticut cigar. Don’t be fooled by its unassuming appearance, this cigar packs a punch. Leaning towards medium-bodied, this cigar bursts with notes of creamy cedar, white pepper, dry cocoa, and leather. If you were looking to spice up your mornings or find a Connecticut that will hold up to a stronger beer, look no further!
